2022

This time we teamed up with Chris Dogterom from Rig-Touch in collaboration with Rondal to destep our masts, service all winches, service all Rondal hydaulics, install a new hydraulic motor for the main mast in-mast furling, replace a Rondal aluminium headstay foil section, restep the masts and tune the rigging.

2017

We teamed up with The Rigging Point to destep our masts, service all winches, service all Rondal hydaulics, dismount all rigging, mount a complete new rigging, restep the masts and tune the new rigging. These were the steps involved:

Destepping masts.

Dismounting all rigging.

Dismounting all the blocks, connections, pins and small parts from the masts and booms.

Dismounting of the outhaul, inmast furling unit and profiles, dismounting of other parts and brackets necessary for painting.

Servicing of all the parts and fittings removed.

Polishing and cleaning of fittings and connections.

NDT testing of all the parts and connections, critical areas on mast and boom.

Mounting of all the parts back in place on mast after servicing and painting.

Manufacturing of new washers to the measurement.

Fabrication of new sheaves for the mast and boom.

Servicing all winches

Servicing all Rondal hydaulics.

Mounting new rigging (including new pins)/

Restepping the masts

Sea trial and tuning of the new rigging.
